The listed heritage register is fundamental means for any preservation actions. Over time, however, the preservation’s theory has increasingly passed from safeguard of isolated objects, characterized by artistic-historical exceptionality, symbolically representative of an extraordinary quality, to complex cultural processes deployed on landscapes, whose value it is amplified by mutual relationships between themselves (Charter congress architects engineers 1885; ICOMOS Venice Charter 1964; Amsterdam Charter 1975; Charter of Intangible Goods 2003; Cultural Routes 2008; Charter of Rural Land¬scapes 2017). The amplification of cultural dimension at the landscape scale and the culture understood as multi-relational System, rather than list of specific singularities, continues a tendency already anticipated in the transition from the concept of Monument, to the definition of Cultural Good as ‘material testimony of civilization value’ (Franceschini 1964; Urbani 1975). The Listed Heritage Register, also in light of new digital instruments, can form as a basis for a focused and shared preservation for risk reduction (Cacace, Fiorani 2014) as for enhancement cultural her¬itage programs at large scale. Some elements existing in the landscape, like fortified constructions net¬works, can be considered as cultural infrastructures for their diffusion in geographical space. The work presented, applied to Sicilian context, show a research proposal, which through the heritage register, can become a tool for knowledge’ updating and of the relationship between several significant elements existing in the landscape for method proposal construction for cultural enhancement.

Abstract
The work presented, applied to Sicilian context, show a research proposal, which through the heritage register, can become a tool for knowledge’ updating and of the relationship between several significant elements existing in the landscape for method proposal construction for cultural enhancement.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
