In the last decade, thousands of migrants have reached European shores. Many countries affected by these flows have approved new laws to manage them and setting up efficient reception and social integration systems. The consistency of these flows has pushed many organizations of the Third Sector to get involved with the reception of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, having to face new problematic and multifaceted situations. This has led to an ever-increasing demand for skills and specializations, posed by operators regarding the skills needed to deal with these changes that redefine the skills of social workers. The analyses presented here are related to research on training needs (Training Needs Analysis – TNA) claimed by some operators employed in the reception system for refugees and asylum seekers, conducted within the PARIS project. The goal is to identify groups of homogeneous skills, by considering the operators’ opinion.
