Also considering the realities of work that is managed by algorithms, the paper aims to expose that the new kind of digital communications could help trade unions and worker representations to enforce the collective power and the role of the collective agreement. In fact, it suggests to enforce the digital communication workers’ rights, using for example communication on “electronic trade union notice boards”. These forms of digital communication and “involvement” represent legitimate models of freedom of thought and could be became expression of necessary democracy in the work place, also to contribute to building more Social Europe.
