The problem of the shimmy oscillation of aircraft's nose landing gear is of great interest because such vibration can carry detrimental effects. An adaptive vibration suppression system based on the Modified Simple Adaptive Control is here considered. The saturation of actuator control moment is taken into account and a simple back calculation scheme is introduced to avoid windup effects. The work investigates numerically the influence of aircraft weight on the controlled system response under different disturbing condition.

Abstract
