This paper presents new data and statistics of the Athenian black-figured vases from the two main necropolis in Syracuse: Fusco and Giardino Spagna. The research takes into account potters and painters, shapes and contexts along with a comparison with other imported pottery. The results can better help in the understanding of relationship between Athens and Syracuse in 6th century BC.
