Abstract
The convent of San Nicolò ai Celestini, Bergamo was built in 1310 and later remodelled several times to be used first as an orphanage and then as a community for disadvantaged girls. The complex has so resiliently perpetuated over time a service function. Today, it is however for sale and risks seeing its use function trivialized. This work aims to discuss the relationship between the adaptation of places with a high vocational value and the respect for their spiritual and cultural features.File in questo prodotto:
