Home Visiting is characterized by different methodologies, if it focuses mother-infant relationship or maternal mental representations or infant's competence. The Home Visiting Program performed in Rome is presented discussing the characteristics of the intervention as well the supervision of home visitors. In order to illustrate the intervention is presented the case of a depressed mother supported from pregnancy until the first year of the baby in the perspective of supervision.

Abstract

Home Visiting programs ar performed in different countries with the aim of supporting parent-infant relationship.
