The building consists of 23 apartments for Social Housing, completely built in wood, developed on 5 floors, with a covered area of about 519 sqm and a surface of 1385 sqm. The spaces serving the “Queirolo Kindergarten” on the ground floor measure 375 square meters. Built next to the Church of Vado Ligure, the building is characterized by a simple development with a rectangular plan, with passing lodgings served by metal balconies, "aggregated" to the wooden volume and positioned to the north. The south facade, which looks towards the sea and the Port of Vado Ligure, is characterized by terraces treated as added volumes, and protected by side walls and roofs, from wind and rain. The compositional and constructive simplicity (base and body of the elevators in reinforced concrete, development of the volume in wood, stairs and balconies in a braced steel structure), has allowed an increase in the internal surfaces of the units compared to the provisions.

Abstract
The compositional and constructive simplicity (base and body of the elevators in reinforced concrete, development of the volume in wood, stairs and balconies in a braced steel structure), has allowed an increase in the internal surfaces of the units compared to the provisions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
