"It's new, but it's always been there." The courage of a possible and different future, beyond the hypocrisy of transparency and northern colonization of skylines. Mattoni, calcestruzzo a vista, vetro, intonaco. Verde e brillante.

Abstract
"It's new, but it's always been there." The courage of a possible and different future, beyond the hypocrisy of transparency and northern colonization of skylines. A suburbia that has become almost a center. A building that is not randomly placed within a lot, as in all modernity, but builds fullness and emptiness in the same way. The words and languages of suburbia to redeem it. Bricks, exposed concrete, glass, plaster. Then, inside, an explosion of emerald green ceramics. Like a traffic light in the fog. An opaque, translucent tower to the north. Mario Sironi freed from the veil of sorrow and sadness. A 700-seat auditorium like none in the city. Green and bright. A large exhibition space as an industrial shed. Inside the tower a Piranesian and Escherian space, like that of inner and artistic, scientific and communicative research.
