This work traces the thought of Prof. Morris L. Ghezzi regarding themes and problems which have always affected the sociology of law as a positive science and the philosophy of law as an *empirical and analytical science. These are aspects, Ghezzi affirmed, able to raise suggestions and doubts from an epistemological point of view about the alleged adequacy of the method of the social sciences, we refer to Sociology of law and Philosophy of law, to face and solve problems imposed by a reality (also scientific) in continuous and speed change.
