This chapter provides an introductory exploration of the integration of AI into healthcare, emphasizing its role in enhancing patient care and medical innovations such as drug development and diagnostic protocols. The aim is to open a door to applying AI in chaperonology with focus on Hsp60. Emphasis is made on the AI capabilities for predicting protein structures and interactions, critical for understanding biological systems, for example, the chaperone system of which Hsp60 is a member, and developing targeted therapeutic interventions. The utilization of advanced AI techniques, such as deep learning evolved from AlphaFold, illustrates their potential in accurately forecasting protein–protein interactions and folding patterns. These developments not only promise to revolutionize our understanding of protein dynamics but also pave the way for novel approaches to treating diseases, Hsp60 chaperonopathies, for instance. This chapter underscores the transformative impact of AI in medicine, particularly through its application in protein science, which continues to evolve, offering new insights and tools for medical research and practice. The chaperone system (CS) is crucial for maintaining protein homeostasis, managing antistress mechanisms, and supporting various vital functions. The use of AI for CS analysis has become attractive and necessary due to the discovery of its etiopathogenic roles.
