The Latin Grammarians Collection (LGC) is a digital research infrastructure serving three projects: the Thesaurus dubii sermonis, the PRIN project TAL (The Transmission of Ancient Linguistics), and the ERC project PAGES (Priscian's Ars Grammatica in European Scriptoria). It consists of a modeling and content-editing interface (Cadmus), a MongoDB database, and a publication portal. The first part of the article explores how key aspects of the infrastructure address two specific research objectives: (a) investigating works by late antique Latin grammarians from a corpus-based perspective, and (b) analyzing evidence from manuscripts of Priscian's Ars, which reveals scholarly interest in the Greek language in Western Europe during the 9th and 10th centuries. The second part discusses the challenges of ensuring the medium-term sustainability of LGC research data – through hosting, backup, and LOCKSS – and the long-term sustainability – through TEI export.
