The body and emotions are founding dimensions in the growth and education of the person. They represent the center of human educability and of the implications with the learning processes starting from the first insertion of the child into the nursery school. Recreational and motor activities can facilitate the acquisition and development of relational skills, while respecting the integrity of the person. The contribution deals with some issues related to the bodily, affective experiences and of learning that the child lives in the first years of life and especially in his entrance to the nursery school.
