The article summarizes the research project proposed for the XXXIII Doctorate Cycle in "Civil Infrastructures for the Territory" at the Kore University of Enna. It is focused on the enhancement of cultural heritage that reaches higher levels when the EU itself to fund projects such as WARMEST that involves the same Kore University. The aim of the research proposed is the reduction of costs and the optimization of management systems through the study of economic resources needed to maintain the state of conservation of archaeological sites. The survey will be developed in three phases: 1. Analysis of the current state of conservation of the archaeological sites in the national and international territory; 2. Identifying factors that affect the change in maintenance costs on archaeological sites; 3. Creation of an economic analysis model supporting the decision support system for maintenance plans.
