Lorenzo Oliván understands poetry as a pursuit of knowledge through a lucid gaze on everyday world. With this starting point, this paper aims to study the role of the body in his latest works. We will pay special attention to the relations between body and identity and to the meaning of pain in his poetry. Last, we will focus on his understanding of the skin as an palimpsest of life experiences.
