In the face of international crimes committed in connection with the armed conflict in Ukraine, Eurojust carries out an important role in the prosecution of perpetrators, in addition to that of the International Criminal Court. The establishment of the Joint Investigation Team into alleged core international crimes committed in Ukraine and the creation of the CICED database (which collects and preserves evidence on international crimes) and the International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (defined by Eurojust as “a unique judicial hub”) are among the most significant innovations that envisage, also for the future, a renewed model of international "judicial police" that can strengthen the prevention and fight against international crimes.

Abstract
In the face of international crimes committed in connection with the armed conflict in Ukraine, Eurojust carries out an important role in the prosecution of perpetrators, in addition to that of the International Criminal Court. The establishment of the Joint Investigation Team into alleged core international crimes committed in Ukraine and the creation of the CICED database (which collects and preserves evidence on international crimes) and the International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (defined by Eurojust as “a unique judicial hub”) are among the most significant innovations that envisage, also for the future, a renewed model of international "judicial police" that can strengthen the prevention and fight against international crimes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
