I divari territoriali e di genere: una prospettiva intersezionale

The essay, based on statistical data, analyses the gender gap in southern Italy, and suggests adopting an intersectional approach that also takes into account the territorial gap. Considering these data, the issue is addressed in the light of the development policies promoted under the PNRR and the SNAI, taking in account the importance that the issue of assistance has assumed in the multilevel system. In conclusion, the essay examines the recent legislation for small municipalities, and highlights the possible positive effects that an adequate spread of agile work could produce on the labour market and in particular on the employment of women in the regions of southern Italy, the less developed areas of the country.

Il saggio, sulla scorta dei dati statistici, analizza la situazione del gender gap nel meridione d’Italia, e suggerisce di adottare un approccio intersezionale che tenga conto anche del territorial gap. A tal fine vengono prese in considerazione le politiche per lo sviluppo promosse nell’ambito del PNRR e della SNAI, anche alla luce del rilievo che il tema dell’assistenza ha di recente assunto nell’ordinamento multilevel. In conclusione, considerando la recente normativa per i piccoli Comuni, si mettono in luce le possibili ricadute positive che un’adeguata diffusione del lavoro agile nelle aree meno sviluppate del Paese potrebbe produrre sul mercato del lavoro e in particolare sull’occupazione femminile nelle regioni del Sud d’Italia.
