Ischaemic stroke is a rare but severe disease associated with childhood. The present report refers to 3 patients with different presentation of ischaemic stroke, coming to the Department of Paediatrics "F. Paradiso - G. Russo" between 2004 and 2006. Manifestations in these children included: hypotonia, rolling of the eyes, hemiplegia, headache. Magnetic resonance imaging techniques provided the most important data, showing the presence of altered signal in various areas of the brain. With the presentation of these 3 cases, the real possibility of cases of ischaemic stroke in childhood is emphasized. Ischaemic stroke must be considered as a possible event in the paediatric population.

Abstract
Ischaemic stroke must be considered as a possible event in the paediatric population.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
