This paper analyzes the theme of the weakness (strength) of the law, of the application or disapplication of right, in the light of the reflections carried out by Theodor Geiger on the theme of legal efficacy (ineffectiveness). in the volume entitled Vorstudien zu einer Soziologie des Rechts (1947), in order to identify the variables that appear most capable of influencing it
