Acute and chronic pain are highly prevalent among the general Albanian population, particularly in socioeconomically disadvantaged regions and females. Multivariate analysis highlighted that individuals aged ≥ 60 had nearly twice the risk of chronic pain. Female sex, smoking, prolonged pain duration, and low income (< 1000/year) were independent predictors of chronic pain in Albania.
