Report on the excavation of a Third century AD context in the Funerary Complex of Harwa (TT 37) and Akhimenru (TT 404) at Luxor and the discovery of the archaeological traces of the Plague of Cyprian (250 AD). The discovery is the result of twenty years study and started a multidisciplinary research aimed to identify on the found human remains the genome of the virus that was responsible of the disease.

Abstract
