Da sempre i percorsi d’acqua, configurandosi come linee che uniscono punti, al pari di tutte le altre forme della mobilità, costituiscono una delle soluzioni che adottiamo in maniera più ricorrente per attraversare e connettere luoghi. Attraverso questo scritto il nostro interesse si vuole pertanto rivolgere agli sviluppi recenti che il tema delle connessioni, che nella fattispecie costituisce anche il mio tema di ricerca nell’ambito di questo dottorato, ha conseguito nella relazione specifica tra acqua-natura e artificio-infrastruttura. L’obiettivo che ci proponiamo dunque, è quello di riportare alcuni esempi che possono illustrare come le nuove consuetudini della società contemporanea stanno influenzando i progettisti sia nel modo di riconsiderare l’infrastruttura nel suo confronto diretto con il paesaggio naturale e antropizzato sia, e soprattutto, nel modo in cui l’infrastruttura viene pensata sin dalle sue fasi progettuali per corrispondere puntualmente alle tante necessità poste da una società costantemente connessa! Lo scritto fissa l’ordine di alcuni “punti conseguenziali”: il primo capoverso vuole chiarire innanzitutto in che modo le “connessioni”, al di là del loro specifico rapporto con l’acqua, stanno concorrendo a modificare il senso dell’infrastruttura; il secondo capoverso, attraverso l’esame di due progetti recentemente realizzati, si propone di tratteggiare alcuni criteri alternativi che legano “punti e acqua”. L’ultimo capoverso intitolato “una linea e dei punti” concluderà lo scritto mostrando come il contatto tra l’acqua e l’infrastruttura della mobilità inizia a divenire un’occasione proficua non unicamente per organizzare sistemi integrati, ma anche per predisporre strutture ecologiche che migliorano i requisiti sulla sostenibilità dell’intervento. Dalla trattazione di questi diversi progetti emerge anche quanto sia divenuto necessario trattare il tema dell’infrastruttura non più e non soltanto come un fatto che taglia le sole discipline dell’Ingegneria, ma come un problema più ampio che richiama una interdisciplinarietà doverosa in grado di coprire i molti campi del sapere che coincidono con questioni che riteniamo non siano più solamente di natura tecnologica. Through this written, our interest wants therefore be applied to recent developments that the theme of connections, which is also my theme of research in this doctorate, has achieved in the specific relationship between water-nature and artifice-infrastructure. The purpose that we propose, therefore, through some examples is to understand as the new customs of the contemporary society are influencing the designers both in the ways to consider the infrastructure in its direct comparison with the natural and man-made landscape, both in the way in which the infrastructure is planned for to answer to needs of a constantly society connected! The written establishes the order of some “consequential points”: the first paragraph explains the way through that the “connections”, beyond their relationship with water, are transforming the infrastructure; the second paragraph regards, through the example of two projects recently created, some alternative ways that tie “points and water”. The written will end with the last paragraph entitled “line and points” that shows how the contact between the infrastructure of mobility and the water, becomes a profitable opportunity to organize the integrated systems and to organize ecological structures for improving the sustainability of action. The discussion of these different projects also shows how it has become necessary to treat the issue of infrastructure, not more and not just, as a fact that cuts only the disciplines of the Engineering, but as a larger problem that calls a dutiful interdisciplinary able to cover the many fields of knowledge that coincide with the issues that we believe are not only more of a technological nature.
