This paper presents the paradigm of Embodied Cognitive Science as a theoretical framework for rethinking healthcare education and the care relationship. By challenging classical cognitivism, it emphasise the active role of the body in cognition, communication and therapy. The article explores how narration, gesture and bodily presence co-construct meaning, proposing a reflection on possible training models that enhance the body as a source of knowledge and a medium of transformative learning.
